Thrummed Mittens are created by using twisted pieces of unspun, carded fleece wool, called thrums. These thrums are knit into wool knitting yarn to make a fleecy lining. With wear and use, the inside fleece felts into an insulating layer. These Thrummed Mittens are hand knit in NL by Maxine , using 100% wool.
