Thrummed Slippers are created by using twisted pieces of unspun, carded fleece wool, called thrums. These thrums are knit into wool knitting yarn to make a fleecy lining. With wear and use, the inside fleece felts into an insulating layer. The Thrummed Slippers are hand knit in NL by Shelley, using 80% wool 20% nylon.
